SHABBAT IN THE GARDEN

NY Botanical Gardens, 8/19/17, 9:45am sharp.

Join us for a mystical, magical morning of Shabbat recharge in the New York Botanical Garden.  Music, nature, Zohar, poetry, movement, stillness and other delights will enfold us.  Sponsored by Rabbis David Markus (Temple Beth El of City Island), Ben Newman (Shtiebel) and Rachel Barenblat (Congregation Beth Israel).

Meet 9:45am sharp at NYBG Main Gate (2900 Southern Boulevard, Bronx NY) to depart at 10:00am.  Free and open to the public.

Shtiebel started with a series of pop-up events in the River Towns of Westchester, NY. We have since then found our primary location at Zion Episcopal Church in downtown Dobbs Ferry. We will continue to have pop-up events throughout Westchester and the NY area.

At our happenings we have healthy delicious food, listen to live Jewish music, move our bodies, and have an engaging philosophical discussion. Come to one of our events and prepare to be inspired.

The primary location for our gatherings is Zion Episcopal Church, the oldest church in Westchester, founded by Washington Irving: 55 Cedar St. in Dobbs Ferry, NY.  As we started with pop-up events, we will continue to have pop-up events throughout Westchester and the NY area.
